This recipe is amazing! Super tasty and easy to make! A different twist to your usual pastries 🤩
Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 2 Cups Flour
- 115g or 1/2 Cup Unsalted Cold Butter
- 1 Tsp Tumeric
- 1 Tsp Gram Masala or Curry Powder
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Cup Ice Cold Water
For the filling:
- 500g Minced Beef
- 1 Onion
- 1 Red Pepper
- 1 Tsp Garlic Paste
- 2 Tsp Curry Powder
- 1 Tsp Tumeric
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- 1 Tsp Thyme
- 1 Tsp Chilli or Cayenne Pepper
- 1 Cube Beef stock
- 2 Tbsp water for the seal
- 1 Egg
- 2 Tbsp water for the egg wash
I suggest using a mixer to make life easy! Make sure the water is ice cold and refrigerate the dough for 30mins. You will need extra flour to open up the patty.
For the filling make sure you taste your meat as you go, if you don’t have the spices above just make minced meat with your selected spices and taste it as you go! If it taste good then its good to go 🤩 you don’t need to poke the dough so it puffs up nicely.
Oven 180c for 20-25mins 👏🏽👏🏽
